Problem found!!!!! The transmission shop said they have never seem one act like this one, being that the transmission is noisy when it is cold and after it heats up the noises go away. It's the torque converter, the mechanic said he would go ahead and pull the from pump too.

I checked the belt and fan, no slippage on the belt and fan is working like it should. I didn't damage the aluminum and the seal is flush with the block. I'm dropping it off with a mechanic tonight, so to get a cold start the next day. Thanks for the ideas.... This will be interesting......... Brett

Transmission Noise

Hey All, I have a 2002 crewcab with 130K. I recently changed the transmission filter and flush the unit. I changed the bushing in the valve body and made sure the filter was in correctly before reinstalling the pan. I noticed a couple of days after the flush, when you first run the truck from a cold...
