Yea I did swap the upper control arms. I also put the new keys in and cranked them most of the way up. I did notice that the new and old keys where very similar. I put about 5k miles on this set up. I also have 1.5" backspacing rims.

Just looking for some advice on fitting 33" tires on my crew. It's currently rocking 31x10.5s. It has a 2.5" rough county lift, plus two add a leafs to the rear. I already have offset rims. I've still got the original motor and trans. On my third rear end though. The trans lost overdrive so i started off roading the old gal. Body is decent but the bed is starting to go on the bottom and fenders.

Found it, the relay sends power to both the c2 a7 pin and the c3 f1. The c2 a7 is for the 2.2 and the c3 f1 is for my 4.3

I used a dab on blue loctite, and then when it was tight, used a chisel punch and a hammer and crushed one of the flats in to keep the nut from coming off, basically making it a homemade locnut

Rockauto and any other site I tried failed me. Chevy had it in stock for 114. I couldn't swallow that so i went to pull-A-part and got one for 12 lol.

brake issues
Okay guys im stumped on this one. On my crew when I am in reverse, I have alot more brake pedal travel. Forward is normal. Discs all around. All new calipers, pads, rotors, and brake lines. Its been like this for a while. Any ideas?

Ended up having to get new rims. Went with 1.5" offset backspace difference from factory. Got my new 31 x 10.5s on. So pumped.

When new they are the same, but whence they have been installed they need to stay on the same side. Otherwise you will be twisting the barthe opposite direction. This will stress the bar and eventually snap it.

Thanks. I got it all back together the other day. Had to assemble the control arms to the hubs, then installed the bars and keys. Used a five ton puller to install torsion key locks. Much safer.

All you would need is to make a bracket where the vacuum pod is, then measure with string how long the cable would need to be. OKay good news. The truck is back to its old self. Four new calipers and a clutch fan. The fan was my biggest issue. I couldn't turn the old one at all, it was completely locked up. Thanks everyone for all the help.

howdy guys. two days ago i was fixing an exhaust leak on my s1o and had it on a lift. i found that two of my brake calipers were locked up, and that my clutch fan was bad. i am going to fix these problems tonight first before moving on.

The power loss is under load, the rpms climb, but it takes forever to get to 60mph without redlining it. Last night I had to drive up a small front yard that had a hill. i have seen this twice on blazers, the front right hub would get vacuum when it should not and engage the hub. i have in both cases simply pulled the clip from the cable that goes to the hub actuator. that way whenever the vehicle get vacuum at the wrong time, the 4x4 would not be able to engage. as...

turned out after all these years that my humming noise was my rear end. i recently had to put a new one in, and what do you know- no humming! that last rear end must of been built right though. it hummed for about 100k before the spiders blew apart.

just wanted to comment that it has been over two years since i did my "$10 fuel valve fix" for my 4x4 vac. i have had no issues with it and my 4x4 works great to this day.

just an idea, but when you stop at a light it gets hot, that is when the waterpump is spinning its slowest, and when you speed up agian the temp goes back to normal, that may be because the water pump is then spining faster. so it may be a bad water pump. purging the air out would be a great idea to...
