Here's my thoughts. We've covered this subject before, but probably before you signed on. What I have is an actual add-a-leaf. It's a short one that installs in your spring pack and takes about an hour to install. You drop the rear axle, drop the center bolt, and install the new leaf directly above ...

Yah, the 35's probably won't fit anyway. The shop in Mesa was Unique 4x4. Their phone # is (480) 969-6600. Drop a line and let us know what more they had to say about the kit. I'm also thinking about fabbing my own 3" body lift on top of it. Know I can make it work with 3" blocks, as opposed to the ...

TS 6.5" lift info....

Got the low down on the bigger of the two kits. Truckin swears it will work and I've talked to a shop (TS dealer) in Mesa, Arizona that put one on. They said the truck is on the road and doing fine. They told me that they had some issues with the kit and had to make some mods to it, being the first ...

I've removed all of mine, including the black rub strips on the sides. The emblems came off around 5K, and I had to use a heat gun to get them started. They're right, stay away from the scrapers, it'll just cause scratches or worse. Use a heat gun to get the leading edge started, then they peel up p...

Warn shackle.

I know not all of you have rear hitches with a 2" receiver, but the best thing I found was the Warn plug-in. It was $35 at Tractor Supply Co. here in town and includes the plug and a detachable shackle. It's a no s**t piece. Nice to just pin it when you need it. The rear hitch was only $99 for the c...

Ive got a 40...

I took the stock exhaust off in front of the muffler and removed all of it. I had a single 40 Flo welded up (2.5" i/o) and put a dump tip on the back of it. I no longer have to worry about the exhaust dragging in the rear when I'm out on the trails. It has a pretty deep sound. Real nice at idle, and...

Warranty issues so far...

Just to inform you guys and to see if anyone's had the same problems. Around 3000 miles I had the passenger door roof seal replaced because the door was misaligned and had torn a hole in it. Warranty issue, replaced after they ordered the part. Last week, at about 12K, I had the e-brake checked beca...

No susp. lifts in the works...

I just got off the phone with Superlift. Thay told me that they have NO plans for the Crew Cab. He said it was just not profitable at this point. So I called BDS and the guy didn't have a clue what his own company had in development. He just said 'check the website frequently'. I'm seriously thinkin...

Did I hear you right?

You moving to Texas? I need to know if someone's encroaching on my territory. Hah! Just wanted to check on the comment you made about moving away from SoCal. Didn't know you're planning a move. Are you?

Leaners...

Mine was way off. Thought that when I picked it up there was something wrong. Measured about 1" lower on one side. The t-bars were even, though. Which meant that when I cranked the t-bars to level the truck, the truck was level although the t-bars were at different settings. Weird, huh? Had the deal...
