I got the same noise, mine seems to be coming from the the air vent . It will go away if you press up on the handle. Im ready to take the vent apart. Let me know if I can further help you.

I was told from the dealer that it was there to protect the gas tank. I had the same question, why on one side and not the other.

I have a new crew and I have some rattling noise , getting ready to take it to the dealer. It sounds like a major problem for Chevrolet and I think they need to do something about it.

I just bought a2003 crew, pewter, nice truck but it seems every time I accelerate I hear a clicking noise coming from the engine. It almost sounds like a lifter noise but I dont think that is it. Anyone else hear the same noise ?
