Finally had a chance to get this KKS radiator in. I must say I really like the fit in the truck, no modifications were needed. The only thing I would suggest is use the factory cooler quick connects. If this is on a crew, have you relocates the diff breather tube? Stock location will allow water to be swallowed into the diff and cause issues.

By chance do you have an aftermarket starter or remote lock key fob? Usually when these devices are installed not much care is taken to ensure a quality job with the wiring and random electrical problems occur. This is where I would start if you have such a device in the vehicle.

First I would look over the wiring they spliced in for the remote start. It usually ends up getting hacked when installed and causes problems down the road.

Good price on the skid plate set. The engine plate cover will need the two brackets to attach near the control arms though just in case anyone was looking at purchasing.

Re: 4wd not working
I would replace all the vac lines you can see on top of the motor to start. Looking at the line you have its toast and disintegrating in your hand. Looks swollen as well and I'm sure the other ones connected to it are in just as bad of shape.

Re: WTB: OEM Rear Flares
Good luck getting flares from GM. They are still an active number in there system but I have been waiting for 9 months for set to show up. They're coming out of mexico, can't remember the supplier off hand. My mounting brackets ended up rotting apart and the only way you can get them is on the flare...

Re: Squeaks in the Front End
Check the control arm bushings. My truck being 12 years old and 105k miles over the summer they were dry rotted badly. Ended up replacing the bushings with moog problem solvers and while having the torsion bars out used white lithium paste to lube the sockets. The bushings really helped the feel of ...

The lack of power can definitely be due to a clogged cat, especially since you're hearing a rattling sound as well.

All 3 are the same AC Delco number. Just replaced all 3 beginning of spring at 90k. Same time I did the fuel injector upgrade.

Aftermarket flares
I will end up emailing superlift directly about this, but does anyone know where the flares came from on the crew they have pictured on their 6" lift kit? Figured since this is the crew headquarters someone might know, because I'm sure contacting superlift will likely be like talking to a brick wall...

Re: What did you do to your Crew today?
Replaced the upper and lower control arm bushings in the crew yesterday. Needless to say after 12 years of service they were in dire need. They were causing a huge amount of slop and would shift and pop on corners. Front end is now all tight and back together.
