Mark-

I too sold my Z28 ('99 HO SS) for my crew. I had headers, no cats and an SLP Loudmouth (among other mods). That thing was so obnoxiously loud! I guess I'm getting too old for that kind of noise.

I do miss the power though!

A cubic foot sounds right for a sealed sub. Mine fits nicely, but I had to cut the seat back foam. No biggie. I also mounted the speaker from the outside as apposed to the inside. Gives a little more freedom. I also used fiber fill. My one 10" (solobarik) really pounds!

http://www.villagephotos.com/viewpubimage.asp?id_=3391703 This was big news a couple of years ago with the LS1 crowd (first came LT1 edit). It is mainly used in conjunction with other mods so that the fuel tables can be optimized. On my '99 SS (Camaro) I had a cam, headers, LS6 intake and MAF. Witho...

I haven't had time to measure mine and post the dimensions. I did cut the back of the rear seat away for the necessary room. I shimmed the seat mounts but still can not lock it. When your sitting in it you can't tell any of the mods have been done...just a real nice back massage. I have noticed with...

YUP! I have the Kicker 10" solo behind my rear seat. I had to build a custom glass/MDF box for it. There is a picture of it in the member profiles.

Yup. That's where I ran my '02 aguge wire. Have to do a little hunting for it from the engine side. I think it comes out below the A/C evap.

I can't help with the part numbers but I might recommend you try these guys: http://www.partszoneonline.com/

They don't rape you for handling and shipping charges like others.

I thought the new GM 75/90 was synthetic?

anybody remember when HP TV changed the new Z-28 to all synthetic (engine, tranny, rear) and gained 10rwhp on the dyno? They used Royal Purple.

Having it run with the defrost also lets the refrigerant lubricate the compressor and seals throughout the year.
