warm misfire
Lets see if anyone else has had this problem. My truck has a misfire when warm on the second start. If i go out and start it in the morning it runs fine. I can drive where im going with no issue. Once i shut it off then restart it, it has a horrible misfire and lack of power. It had a P0300 random m...

Re: Camber
The steering has less that a half inch play on steering wheel both directions. I didn't figure that would cause camber issues even if there was more. The shocks are getting some age on them. Since shocks don't really carry any load or alter ride height never gave it a second thought. Is this IFS rea...

Camber
Alright here is my latest issue. Did a quick search and didn't find anything so if I missed the topic let me know. My truck is wearing every other tread lug off the inside row of tread on my left front tire. It did this before with another tire. When I had it aligned I was told the camber was off. I...

Re: Whine under load
Alright here's what I found last weekend. When I'm in the truck it sounds like it's coming from the trans/t case area but with the windows down it sounds like front end. I jacked up the front and spun the wheels when I spin the left front I get a growl from the gears in the front axle. The right sid...

Whine under load
I hit 100k miles and I swear this thing is falling apart. Alright here's the latest issue. Ive got a whine under load. It goes away when I let off the throttle and it's there when I get back in it. It only happens in 2nd and 3rd gear. Speed does not affect it. Any one have this problem before or hav...

Re: Transfer case fluid
Update. Found the transmission vent tube. It was burried in a chunk of mud. It definitely slowed the problem now it will drain about half a quart in two weeks. Guess I'll just keep topping off the trans and draining the case every couple weeks for now.

I did not know that. I figured the one by the dip stick was for the trans. I'll have to check the one you are talking about. It's to the point it will drain about a quart from the transmission in a week. I'd rather try everything I can before resorting to dropping the t case

Re: Transfer case fluid
Thanks yall I would have never thought about all the vac lines. Hopefully I caught it soon enough. The trans was only a quart low and after attempting to check the fluid level in the t case that quart is now in the driveway. I'll have to check the vents as well. My trans vent is up on the fire wall ...

Transfer case fluid
Alright here is my issue. My truck has been making a growling noise lately so I figured I should probably check the fluid in my T-case since I've owned it for 5 years and never thought twice about it. I pulled the fill plug and dumped quite a bit of ATF in my drive way. I guess too much is better th...

Re: Removing headliner
As usual one problem leads to another. I got the head liner pulled down a little ways, enough to get my hand in there. The edge of the liner was glued but nothing else is glued. Not sure why though the grab bar and coat hanger are enough to hold it. Anyway, found a small hole in the sun roof tray. A...

Every time I get muddy I say Ill never do it again, but it pretty flat around here so mud is the about the only option for using 4x4. This time I got lucky and got my school to let me use the wash bay to clean it up.

Has anyone tried to relocate the bumpers without brackets from a kit? It doesnt look like it would be hard to either modify the stock brackets or fab some that would lift the bupers. Just wondering if anyone had tried this and how it went before i tear into mine.
