I'm hoping it's plugged pretty good so I didn't ruin my cat for nothing.
My 92 s10 was plugged so much that there was barely any exhaust coming out of the tail pipe. On this one there is exhaust coming out but i cant tell if its any less than usual. I guess the temp test is tale tell though.

Re: Need PO101 help
when I say pre cat i meant before the main converter. I wasn't realizing the small one toward the engine was actually a "pre cat"
What im actually trying to say is the exhaust directly in front of the main cat is way hotter than the pipe immediately after the cat.

Re: Need PO101 help
I just rechecked it more warmed up and this time pre cat was off my thermometer once again and behind the cat was 172ish. I can't really tell if the crackleing sound is from the cat or my throw out bearing making noise. I guess tomorrow i'll spend most of the day trying to get the cat hollowed out a...

Re: Need PO101 help
I have a digital infrared thermometer and after letting the blazer warm up a few minutes pointed it in front of the cat. The thermometer errored out because it only reads to 230 degrees and I guess it was hotter than that. After the cat was only 130. I think but not sure I hear a crackleing sound fr...

Need PO101 help
My Blazer set this code today and has 1/2 the power it usually does.
What is this chart telling me? It's over my head. lol Is there anything strikingly wrong? Should i start by cleaning the maf sensor?

overhead console w/ trip computer
I bought another "mode" display, plugged it in and it worked fine. So I had a bad display. I still don't have the compass plugged in though. Seems to work fine anyway. It just displays "c" for a few seconds after the key is turned on.

Re: overhead console w/ trip computer
Well, i've figured out that my compass/temp display has the compass sensor built in. The "mode" display i bought off ebay is supposed to have a external compass sensor which is what that red plug is for. CRAP...

Re: overhead console w/ trip computer
Well, I just ended up cutting the onstar wires out of the harness and all i have left to do is hook up the outside temp sensor. Whats the easiest way to wire it? should i run a wire all the way from the display outside to the sensor or what? Mine has no dummy plug on the rad support.

Re: overhead console w/ trip computer
I'm trying to put a non mode console in my 02 blazer. The parts vehicle i'm using is a 01 blazer that has lighted mirrors, dimming mirror and onstar. The harness console harness I removed goes up the drivers side pillar and connects to the lighted visors,compass/temp display, auto dimming/onstar mirro...

He said that the roads are so bad in Brazil that all the 2wd s10s are 4x4 based for extra ground clearance.

Re: 2002 GMC Sonoma CC 2wd
Those are the early 2nd gen 2wd wheels. Probably '94-'96ish ...........and the 2wd zr2 blazers had torsion bars Do you have any links or photos of those 2wd blazers. I know they made them but, have never seen any info on it. I have a fellow s-series driving friend who lives in Brazil... He sent me t...

Re: Quad Beam Headlight Mod
No,..didn't use a relay. I thought my blazer had low beam DRLs so all I had to do was ground the yellow wire?
Would installing the relay fix my problem?

I wish I had been around when this thread was started. I could have probably saved some one a lot of trouble because I work at a starter and alternator rebuilding company building alternators. Still yet though if anybody needs any part numbers crossed over or anything I have access to the programs a...
