Re: Throttle Blade, spacers and other intake mods talk
Hi, I just want to try to clear up something I was wondering about the Throttle Blade mod. I have a 2003 CC and I want to get the CFM throttle blade but I was reading about EGR problems? I don't think I have that system because it's an 03 but I want to make sure. Also I read something about the engi...

Re: Removing the Ashtray
Yeah I finally got mine off. And you're right, it was a huge pain in the ass. I had to remove all of the lower trim and then kind of bend the trim around the controls back to get it out. Then I wanted to keep the frame of it and it was tough to get the ash tray out of it. Reminded me of putting in t...

Re: New Sound System
I'm glad too. My amp is only rated 300 RMS so the sub is actually underpowered but it's still ridiculous.

Re: New Sound System
 Yes it's a very big improvement. :D Anyways, I finally got my rear seat to lock. I had to put 5 washers on each side of the seat and use a dremel to grind out the front two holes and make them oblong as well as remove the plastic bushings on the latch. I also have to shut it kind of hard but w...

Removing the Ashtray
Hi, could anyone help me in how to remove the ash tray in our trucks? I took out the two screws holding the inside in and took it out but I don't know where to go from there. I see how it is held on but I don't know how to get it off. Thanks a lot guys!

I agree. I only have the subwoofer level on 7 out of 15 and the bass on 0 and I'm still afraid to turn it up all the way

New Sound System
Finally my sound system is done getting installed. I didn't do it myself, I chickened out and just decided to have Car Stereo One in Latrobe, PA do it. Great place. I highly recommend them. Took them 4 days for me to finally get it back but it was worth it. Head Unit: Alpine CDA-9886 Was installed p...

Re: Lift and Level Kit & Questions about tires
Ah, I see. I was considering that but what you said earlier I think I'm just going to get the shackles since they're cheaper and I won't be towing anything. I'm losing my only hitch with the BL anyways. Anyways, HenryJ thank you so much for all of your help. I'm asking a lot of questions so thanks f...

Re: Lift and Level Kit & Questions about tires
Thanks a lot for the help HJ, I'm getting the body lift first because I'm buying one off of a member of this site for a good deal, and then depending on how much life is left on my tires I'll decide what to get next. I really want to get the Bilsteins though, I've heard good things and you sold them...

Re: Lift and Level Kit & Questions about tires
Hopefully I can get those then. I just need my tires to last another couple months so I can save the money to buy the BL, shackles, bumpstops, an alignment, and of course the tires. :whew: And would spacers be necessary? The front 1.25" and rear 3" spacers? :?: Another question though, getting even ...

Re: Truxxx Lift and Level Kit
Terrain - almost all road, a little bit of trails with lots of rocks and bumps Driving habits - not really sure, what do you mean? Climate - PA, so hot summer and cold snowy winter Looks - I like the look of off road tires but I still want them to be able to drive mostly on the road. Like the Durat...

Re: Truxxx Lift and Level Kit
Would 9.5" tires make a difference? Any brand/model of tires to recommend for my application? And how much trimming/bashing is required? Any threads on this? I couldn't find any but I went out and looked at the CC and I think I know what you mean. Also I don't really off road except for a few easy t...

Re: Truxxx Lift and Level Kit
Well I hate to ask one of these type of questions, but I want to put 31" tires x 9.5" (probably? That's what I've seen recommended on the forum) on my stock ZR5 rims. I'm getting a 2" PA-192 body lift already. And I'm considering doing the rest of the MML (except maybe replace the SpringWorks with s...

Re: Truxxx Lift and Level Kit
I see, maybe I will just get shackles instead then. But you said you still had to cut the fenders and flares to get just 30" in there? How are people fitting 33"? And also any chance I could see some bigger pictures of your truck?

Re: Truxxx Lift and Level Kit
Okay, thank you. I was just wondering what exactly it was. I think I'm just going to do the MML or whatever else I will need to do to fit 31's because I'm not interested in modding my flares and 31's should work for all I want.

Re: LED Tail Lights
I got them installed today :D They look great. Installation was very simple. There is actually a blinker installed on the back on the housing and it makes the LEDs blink at the correct speed. Only problem I had that was for some reason my left tail light's screws weren't long enough to hold the new ...

If you could post pictures that would be great, and I'm thinking of doing the same thing with mine. Will the back up lights be brighter with LED bulbs? Wanted: Rear Interior Trim Piece *FOUND
I'm looking for the piece that goes on the rear of our cabs, behind the backseat. This is the piece that a lot of people take out to put in subwoofers behind the rear seat. Does anyone have an extra one they would like to sell and ship to me? I need it in black. Thanks! Edit - Found one at a junkyar...

Wanted: Subwoofer Box *FOUND
Hello, I am looking to buy a subwoofer box fitting two 8" subwoofers, one or two 10" subwoofers, or a 12" subwoofer. I know about the SuperCrewSound one and will probably buy that if I cannot find something different that someone made. I know that I could make my own but I don't really have a great ...
