Re: Spectre cold air intake
I would post a picture of mine except it must have been on my old phone. Anyway I run the same kit on my avalanche as Brule. In my personal opinion they a better kit all the way around then both K&N and airaid. I have run all three kits now (not on the same rig) and I am far more impressed with the ...

Yes I started (well Brule and Walt) facebusa.org its a site that hasn't picked up a lot of steam yet but I'm hoping it will. Despite the name the site is for all things with 2 wheels and motors.

I didn't scratch the inside of the axle tube and I used RTV sealant on the outside of the seals. Also I verified that the leakage was from the seal between the axle and rubber and not from between the seal and the axle housing. Thanks for the suggestion though. I'm not trying to pick at you, but th...

Brule I'm sure will back me on this. Don't I repeat DON'T use cheap parts unless you have no choice. This will always come back to haunt you in the long run. And to answer you question, no it doesn't have to last for more then one day. They may hold the specs for the manufacturer but there tolerance...

My 02 CC got new shocks yesterday. It had 120k miles and still had the factory shocks. They were all still OK, but one of the rears blew up on me after driving down a few caliche oil company roads last weekend. I replaced all four with Monroe Gas-Matic LT's from Advance. $20/each with lifetime warr...

Also make sure you are using a good seal. We all know you can buy seals on the cheap but that doesn't mean they work right. National, timken, CR, or original equipment GM. These are the products should be using.

Had that problem with my last car, i went with the wet sanding way. First time i had ever did it, but turned out great!! plenty of videos on youtube to show you how to do it. paint looked like glass afterwards.. Nothing wrong with wet sanding as long as you have enough paint/clearcoat to wet sand. ...

It been awhile I know. I haven't been able to upload pictures of my avalanche yet so here she is. 2002 6" superlift, 20" feet, and 35" shoes a little custom Brule repair work on the underside, Garmin GPS, bullydog ft tuner, magnaflow exhaust, spectre cold air kit and that's about it for now. I need ...

Just a warning. Keep in kind that I am also a huge fan of seafoam and I sell a ton of it. His claim was that it cleans a little to well and in some older motors it has caused comple...

I suppose that would work but I can't see it ever really having a problem again. I'm just glad we caught it. I was already to point the finger at the shocks and head home until I got them ordered. Luck of the draw I guess that I decided to rock it side to side before jumping off the bumper.

I would really like to buy local from one of my own customers but I can save well over $200 if I buy online. I am not sold on any particular set of tires yet. I started looking at 325/60-20's which gives me the hight I am after and yet opens up a couple for tread options.
