Re: OIL FILT LINE LEAK
I know this is several years later but I wanted to provide some additional thoughts on the oil line leaks. In the last 5 years I have gone through 3 dorman lines. Yes they have a lifetime warranty and rock auto even helped me get reimbursed for the labor. But the lines leak after 1.5 yrs, like clock...

Re: Ordering wheel spacers / adapters ( comparison and revie
Received the 1.25" spacers from rigged.up (ebay vendor) and they are just as described. 6.45" OD, Grade 8 hardware, very good finish and appears to be a quality product. I was able to install them with no problems. The price was $120 but that was for 4. The price for 2 was the same as for 4 so I fig...

Re: Ordering wheel spacers / adapters ( comparison and revie
ezaccessory (ebay vendor) just confirmed they are using 6" OD Stock and Grade 8 studs. riggedup (ebay vendor) just confirmed 6.45" OD stock with 12 mm x 1.5" grade 8 studs. Sounds like this may be a good possibility in the $120 (per pair) price range. These appear to be the same quality as some of t...

Re: Ordering wheel spacers / adapters ( comparison and revie
Spacer/adapter vendor update: Completevalue (ebay) confirmed with Dwight that he only has spacers that are 6.125" in diameter. After having test fit a set, I feel they are too small for the stock wheels. Perhaps if you are using aftermarket wheels with a smaller mounting face, they may work. CJBargi...

Re: Ordering wheel spacers / adapters ( comparison and revie
I just received the 1.25" spacers from completevalue and they are no longeg using 6.5" diameter stock. Mine measured at 6.125" and are definitely smaller than the mounting surface of the wheel. I will be trying to send them back within the next day or so if I can get them to refund my money. I am no...

Re: Extending rear end breathing vent or relocating axle ven
Just a reminder that this is a very important, worthwhile and cheap mod. YellowCrewCabber has found an excellent location to run the vent line. I recently relocated mine on a newly purchased truck and decided to go ahead and change the fluid out just in case. Very glad I did as there was serious wat...

Re: Throttle Blade, spacers and other intake mods talk
Original SES codes were P0171 anbd P0174 code (Bank 1 and Bank 2 system too lean). Solution was the dealer found a leaking vac line. I guess the vac system is tied to absolutely everything and should always be the first thing to check!
Thanks for all the help.

Re: Throttle Blade, spacers and other intake mods talk
Very timely discussion. I performed the throttle blade mod 150 miles ago and my 03 CC threw a P0171 anbd P0174 code (Bank 1 and Bank 2 system too lean). Do you think they are the result of the mod?

Re: A little diff help! long
I am a site newbie and wish I would have found it sooner!
I just sold my 91 s-10 with bushwacker cut outs, 2" BL after 15 yrs and 208k miles and bought a 2003 ZR5. Unfortunately, the truck has 3.42 gears and no G80. Can the G80 be added to the stock 3.42 rear setup without a hitch?
