The hard part of an aftermarket piece is proving to the dealership that it did not cause the problem, there is no way possible to prove that it did not have anything to do with the problem....the dealer will win. Also why should they cover the problem when you put on after market products....when th...

The only thing I would watch out for is getting too nice of speakers with just an aftermarket H/U if you are not going to use an amp with them. I had to send back my Infinity Kappas in my old Cav because the Sony deck just couldn't power them and the bass just didn't sound good. NTXCrew - I do like ...

Ya, proven quality is always the way to go. The more I thought the more it looked a little shady. BTW Do the performancewheel spacers come with the lugs? Also when I was placing the order for the 2003 S-10 Pick Up 4x4 the demisions stated - Bolt Pattern: 5x121 Hub Bore: 70.3 Lug Pitch: 12X1.5 Nut I ...

I ran across this place on the s-series site. They are pretty cheap for 1 1/4" and 2".

Hopefully the flat one. , ya the flat one  Thanks for the info, I guess anything could be done, its just a matter to money and fabrication. Since I don't have a lot of either, I think I may have to rethink the dual idea. Maybe just do single exit, basically replacing the stock with flowmaster ...

Dual Exhaust
Well, a bargain came my way over the weekend. A guy I work with offered to sell me his tonneau cover that he had on his Zr5 (he bought a topper) for 100$. Its pretty nice and lockable. Any way after I have that installed I will put that spare tire mount in the bed. Now that I have all that room unde...

Well I think Chevy has come a long way, once next fall hits, they will have replaced or re-styled their whole line old/new tracker/equinox s-10/colorado malibu(classic)/malibu cavalier/cobalt prism/aveo C5/C6 all others had been restyled over the past couple years. You do have to remember that Chevy...

Thanks for the info, shouldn't be too difficult. NXTCrew - what infiniti's are you using, the only reason I am asking is I had the new kappas in my cavalier (6x9's) powered by a Sony deck (23 rms) and the were too underpowered and the bass was mushy. I ended up going with RF and was fairly pleased. ...

A couple of questions along the same lines. I am also looking to add some bass (and clarity) to the Crew, but don't want to really get into the amps and subs. Would putting in a aftermarket deck and replace all the factory speakers a worthwhile option?? Anyone have success with just doing that? Also...

Hey NXTcrew, did you replace all the factory speakers in your truck? Also did you add a head unit and/or amp? I was thinking of replacing all my factory too, to add some quality sound and bass, but without a sub. Anyone, any suggestions on speaker replacements for our trucks, I've had good experianc...

Hey, just an FYI. My borther is a ASE tech at a chevy delaership here in Omaha, NE. They do take those surveys very seriously. His team, about four techs, must receive all completely satisfied surveys. I mean everything has to be marked completely satisfied. If they don't, they don't get their surve...
