Re: READERS RIDES: Discussion

If you're referring to my rig, they're 33x9.5 R15. I believe the widest you can go is 10.5. The 10.5 BFG's do look cooler than the 9.5's, but HJ has a whole list of reasons why the 9.5 is better.

Look up the "Marvelous Mystery Lift."

However, the metal shields/covers on the inside of the front wheel-wells are sticking out farther than desired.

...Those front support arms on the rear end are a pain! I had to jerry rig one of them (couldn't bend it like the directions say) and I didn't even put the other one back on! You will need to remove them to twist them. One end in a vise and a pair of locking pliers would be the easiest way. If you ...

I had to jerry rig one of them (couldn't bend it like the directions say) and I didn't even put the other one back on! I have to do it tomorrow, along wit...

As far as I knew they were the exact same thing. Although I think many S10's and Sonoma's have slightly different parts depending on the years. I had a lot of unused parts in the body lift. The extension for the fuel hose (whatever its called) wasn't even close to the same size as the one in my truc...
