Re: What transmission does my CC have stock?

I've heard from several sources now that 2001 is not interchangable with any other years. The issue I'm having with my transmission is apparently very common. It has been a known issue since before the 700r4 became the 4l60e. After years of complaints gm attempted to fix the problem after 2001 which...

Re: What transmission does my CC have stock?

I knew that much henry I guess I was asking if there was a more specific tag I should be looking for and if any of these other transmissions would fit my truck. What I heard today at a well known yard was that the 2001 is not interchangable with a transmission from another year. They said that usual...

What transmission does my CC have stock?

My transmission let go a over a month ago. It barely shifts out of first and it has no reverse...makes a constant squeeling noise as well. I'm having trouble finding a replacement. I'm not able to afford one brand new so I'm searching for one from a boneyard or donar. Exactly which transmission is i...

Roll Pan

Has anyone replaced their bumper with a roll pan? Was looking for some finished pics of what it looks like on the CC.

And if there were any drawbacks or helpful info someone has to share I could soak that up too. :D

I don't think that's what I read about. Here is the exact wording from sshotrods http://www.sshotrods.com/dirt-bikes-in-little-rock-for.html Unfortunately the images are not working. Next you can remove the void box. The void box connects to the air intake behind the throttle body. The purpose of th...

Air box Mod

So this weekend I tried out the airbox mod. I also changed to a K n N filter. It worked great there is a noticeable change in pickup and acceleration. And it growls now when I step on it. I had heard somewhere that there is also some kind of silencer located further up in the stock tubing somewhere,...

Killian both of your setups sound great. So let me get this straight, on the blazer you have just the 30 series with a 3 inch tip and are running stock everything else? You leave the cat and pre cat on? And does the zr2 have the same size piping as my crew cab? It sounds pretty good. I would rather ...

Seeking advice for exhaust

Hello everyone first post here. My quest for a new exhaust system led me to this site and I think its great! I have been doing a lot of research but need honest opinions before I make my decision. I am looking for a cat back system for my sonoma to improve mileage and performance, as well as give it...
