well im going towork on it after i get off work tomorrow. HJ, once i get the rear disk and brake off, do i just pull off the ebrake shoe and take apart the adjusting mechanism? then clean it, lube it, and put it back together and then readjust? ive never done this before so for for asking alot of Q'...

well i just ordered new cap, rotor, wires, plugs, and a downstream O2 sensor. hoping this will help reduce the CO, plus the truck needed a tune up anyways haha

thanks hj for the reply. i just had a chance to take alook at it, and the rear brake i mentioned that was the problem is seized up it appears. the shoe doesnt move at all when the parking brake is applied. do i just have to order a new shoe like this one, http://www.discountautoparts.com/item.wws?sk...

i just got over at my base un the uk and im getting my CC in order to get resigestered for uk. it failed on a couple things that i already kno how to fix, but one thing was the right rear ebrake didnt hold firm enough. jw if anyone has any advice on how to adjust id be indept to you!

i just drilled a hole through the front passenger floor board, put in a rubber grommet, and ran my wires underneath the carpet.

how does it sound? i have my kenwood KAC-7204 that is 500wt RMS bridge, 1000wt max. and it THUMPS my RF P3. im glad you went with the set up i have. i know youll like it and it sounds good.Alpine PDX-5 has 75 watts RMS x 4 and 300 watts RMS x 1.
RF P3L-S12 is rated 100-400 watts RMS.

you cant just buy one and install it, the 2door blazers have the tire carrier welded under neath the rer quarter. search this forum, HJ has a mod thread on his rear tire carrier i think its off a rodeo(?) not sure tho

i was checking the mail today and i noticed a postcard from GM saying that any one owning a 2000-2003 S10 or sanoma should check the tailgate cables. and if they are damaged at all they will be replaced for free. anyone else get this postcard?

its just like any of the other 2" lift kits, junk. all it does is gives you new tbar keys which will let you lift the front out of safe specs. and the rear is just a shackle lift. if your serious about a lift just do a tbar crank and shackles or add a leafs, and if that not enough then add a 2" body...

dont yell to much, but i have a Q lol. the other day my quad beams quit working, only my high beams came on. so today i pulled the headlight asembly and everything is wried correctly, no connections came loose or anything. what so you think it could be? should i try replacing the relay first?

just wenrt out to solder my connections, took about 10 minutes. but i see what you guys mean by the splice connectors being crappy. i barely touched one and a wire came lose out of it

i must of missed that part. i used the splice connectors and heatshrink tubing/electrical tape to do the connections. i did it the same way you posted how to do it in the MOD section.I hope you did it right the first time and soldered the connections. I had to go back and do that

look up the marvelous mystery lift thread, its somewhere around here. bassically its a 2' body lift, torsion bar crank, and either rear shackle or add a leaf. all of which any mechanically inclinded person can do with basic hand tools. that will give you around 3-4" of lift, not including the lift o...

well i got the new cat put in today, no more rattling lol. but i have a odd Q now. since the new cat was put in i put 30mi on it so far and ive noticed my exhaust tone has gotten alot quiter and higher pitched, it used to be a nice deep tone but now can harrdly be heard. any thought as to why it did...

yea the 1.5" of space is with a tire up on a curb, on flat ground i have 2"+ of space. now im gona stick with my 30x9.5's because they only have 10k on them. THanks HJ, I measured and have 1.5" from the closest point of the wheel to the fender edge. Is that enough clearence for a 15x8 with 5" bs?

i finally have the extra cash to get new wheels like ive been wanting. right now i have a tbarcrank/add a lead lift and 30x9.5 tire on stock wheels. the new wheels im looking at are 15x8 with 5" of backspacing. do you think i can fit these wheels with little to no rubbing?

does the pre cat affect emissions? because the guy said he isnt sure if he could legally delete it if it does because of the emisions laws in PA. but he said he'll look at it friday and see if it can be deleted

your problem is the negitive offset and the 3.5" of back spacing, like said earlier the stock size is 6" of backspacing. the only way to get rid of the rubbing is to either lift it or cut alot of the fender/wheel welldata on the wheels is 15"x8" 5x4.75 -27mm 3.5"

thanks for the tip fallvitals. idk why but my bumper (i have an '02) had a dozen of the push clips going around the bumper. it was a major PITA, it only took me 3 hours to remove it and put everything back on

if you look in my pic you can see the front of the bed is lower than the cab corner. which means its flexing there because the cab n bed are ussually even with each other on flat ground.Wonder how much our frames are flexing!

i was going to so i could get more flex out of the IFS,but it was 10* outside that morning and i didnt feel like messing with it lol
