Brett has posted that a resistor spliced into the wire will solve the issue, however he does not say what size or anything.

Here is the Headlight Modification Thread on ZR2USA I did the Quadbeam, and the AHL disable from that thread, but a different DRL disable method . It says for ZR2, but I imagine it will work for any S-series with low - beam DRLs. This way was a bit easier than the way Knaffle posted, but doesn't wor...

Diversified Creations here in Michigan makes what are called LS1 Flares (amongst a bunch of other sweet parts) for the ZR2's. I know they involve cutting the ZR2 fender up a bit, and i believe that in that process you end up cutting off the ZR2 Flare mounting edge. http://www.diversifiedcreations.co...
