Re: 2004 Fuel Tank

I knew if I procrastinated long enough another solution would present itself.
Instead of a $500 replacement tank, I'm going to try this "ICV- inlet check valve" repair kit.

2003 - 2004 PLASTIC Fuel Tank

P0442 DTC and fuel leak from "top" of tank. I reached in from the wheel well and tried to epoxy around the fill neck. It held long enough to pass SMOG but then the dtc set again. Next I dropped the tank and tried to epoxy it again but it didn't last long either. Anyway, SMOG test is due again. The e...

Ok, so I changed the dist gear, cap and rotor. DTC P1345 is gone. I don't think the cap/rotor had anything to do with this since nothing looked burnt, broke or missing. I was still getting the high KR numbers, some stumbling, etc as before. Comparision, http://i395.photobucket.com/albums/pp38/ang945...

This is also when the Water Temp starts to climb. When in CLOSED Loop it stays at 14.6. I don't think it's leaning out. I wi...

I had high hopes to autocross this thing. Then wife, house, kids seemed to change all that. Up until about a year ago I didn't realize that I was only driving this to work during the week. It is now officially my commuter car. It's a 73 Datsun 1200 with a sewing machine size 1200cc engine. Best mpg ...

Thanks for the quick replies. I now have a little more direction.

I already have a fuel filter on order. I'll be checking the other things out as well.

DTC P1345 ?

Hello everyone, Long time lurker, first time poster. I have an 03 CrewCab and an 02 Blazer. Both are 4.3L, 4wd, beige with blk leather. A "His and Hers" if you will. My problem is with the Blazer, but since these trucks are almost identical and I'm more familiar with this site, I'll post it here. He...
