FS: ZR5 Fender Flares
Have (3) ZR5 fender flares, front driver side and both rears. The front pass side one got whiped out by the tire, I took the other side off before it got destroyed, a few of the mounting holes on that one are ripped, but they are still there. The rears have no damage and are the ones that are Crew c...

Re: Help: Parking Brake Light comes on while driving
Well just about everything is new. A year ago I replaced all 4 pads, rotors and both rear calipers. I drained all the fluid at that time and replaced. I did the jamb on the brakes to bleed the abs out... Everything was fine for over a year then it started up, right about the same time that my ABS st...

Help: Parking Brake Light comes on while driving
Recently the (BRAKE) light in the dash started turning on while driving. In a past vehicle I had this happen do to a leak in the brake line, right before I lost brakes. Expecting the worst the first time this happened I pulled over checked everything out and it was all fine. It still does it from ti...

Re: My S10 rare?
I just ran mine on CompNine and it says there are only 3 like mine.
I ran my 99 K3500 and it said there are only 3 like it also, but I knew that one was rare, took forever to find one with the options that I wanted.

Re: Bump stops
Anyone have a good line on where to get the fullsize bump stops? The GM part number listed way back at the begining is now discontinued and I was only able to find one of them in the junkyard that wasn't dryed out and falling apart. Is there a good place to buy them new? Any help would be great.

Re: Removing the Ashtray
.............it would snugly hold the radio in place. No screws, glue, clamps or anything. You ain't wheelin' it hard enough if, it holds it snugly. You gotta hit those "Old Navy" outlet curbs a little harder. Thats what I was thinking, hell even stuff thats bolted down in my truck comes loos...

Re: Removing the Ashtray
I took mine out its a huge pain in the ass, you pretty much have to take the whole lower part of the dash off to get to the rest of the screws. Eventualy I will get around to mounting my CB in that space.

Re: Another Cooling Mod thread. Bigger Radiator? E-Fans? IAT
Great thread guys, I just have one question. The ECM should have the ability to control the fans without that fan controler that you paid $100 for. It should wire up to the ECM just like it does in a LS1 car. Has anyone looked into wiring it up this route? If I remember correctly then you can adjust...

Shocks, what size?
Ok, right now my truck is stock ride height but I plan on doing the boise spring kit, and possibly some 1.5" shackles.
Will stock length shocks work or do I need to get longer ones?
I'm planning on going with the Bilstein HD's

fpieri, how is that thing power wise? It looks like the turbo on there is really small. Eventualy I plan to swap a 6.5L Turbo diesel and 4L80e from a 97-00 truck into my CC. The 6.5 is pretty much all the same dimensions and mount points as a SBC so all of the 350 swap parts should work. I will be d...

WTF! I swapped out the BCM, installed the switch, did the relearn..... I now had the air bag light, the tow haul button lights up but it doesn't do anything when you hit it. Light in the dash doesn't come one and shifting doesn't change at all. Anyone have any ideas? Oh yeah its a 03 Zr5 with pretty...

I picked up a BCM and tow/haul switch from a junk yard in Peoria, IL this weekend. Probably one of my best junk yard buys in a while, got 6 way power leather buckets for my fullsize truck for $40 each and he threw in the BCM for free because he didn't know what was and figured nobody else wanted it,...

For the most part it should bolt right up. I know if reg and extended cab s10 the fire wall and floor has the indents where you need to cut or drill to make the pedals and shifter fit, not sure if the crew cab had that though because it never came as a manual. Hardest part will be the wiring, but ha...
