Re: Fuel Back flow prevention
Just do it. I can. Since I did the 2" BL I am not near as afraid of dropping the fuel tank as I was before. I am just afraid of putting the $$ toward the pump. Better that than being on the side of the trail one day, miles away from help with no cell phone signal. Sheesh!

Re: Towing or large payloads with spacers?
Towing exerts an extra side load to the body and frame. The problems with extended shackles show up when towing. The axle tends to move to the side on the turns and the driveshaft will rub the fuel tank. Those with the fuel tank shield will have less clearance and more problems. This has not been a...

I've read in the past about guys with the 2" lift shackles who felt like they made the rear sway more than normal. How does yours feel? That might be my next mod if I can't go with the Boise springs. How much did they set you back? Where did you get your overload spring? Thanks green...

The old S-10Crewcab.com site had a list of Mods. with discriptions and pictures that had all you would need to do the Skidz cuts to your fenders, but I don't know what happened to that REAL information. 8) I know the info you are referring to. Re: Fuel Back flow prevention
One of the new tools I own, because of my love for this truck, is a fuel pressure gauge. I have checked the pressure in the past and what I was calling a check valve and now know as a foot valve was definitely letting the pressure drop off. It wasn't too sharp of a drop, but a drop anyway. I'm just ...

Re: i am so sorry for another tire fitment question
One question I have in conjunction with this post is that when I did my fender cuts the directions referenced the Skidz flare templates. I didn't have the template so I just did my best guess using the pictures. I got it right 3 out of 4 times. I have some more cover up for the one, but it isn't too...

Fuel Back flow prevention
To make this short and sweet, I have to double cycle my fuel pump before I start my CC or crank it for 5-10 seconds to start. I figure it has to be a failure of some kind of back flow prevention which is responsible to keep the fuel at the injectors when the engine is off. I have a bad feeling that ...

Green02crew, That was really loaded. I heat my house with our wood burning stove so I know what it is to weigh down our CC rear suspension. Re: 4' Lift and 33's
Assuming this is a body lift you can almost guarantee you will have rubbing on the frame because of the width of your tire. I am running BFG 33X9.50X15 and I am rubbing on the frame. I figure I am losing the last 1/2" of turning radius because of it. You will have to calculate your back spacing and ...

Ah, the infamous warm up period. I know it well! I would do it more often if I just bothered to try to get out the door on time.
