Quite understandable, but it just seems it would be easier to get a free flowing aftermarket muffler thats only slightly louder than stock instead of trial and error experimentation with various stock mufflers. But hey difference of opinions is what makes the world go round.

Im running duels with blown out glasspacks and the noise isnt all that noticeable when cruiseing w/ the windows up, but then again i did run my truck for about 8 months with my muffler hacked off and a piece of flexy pipe bent out in front of the front leafspring mount lol. Maybe im just diffrent bu...

Yeah ive had my system for a little over a year now and its definatly gotten noticably louder. And im aware the truck wont ever sound like a v8 (just relativly close), but i just like the sound of trucks ive heard that are running no cat and some sort of high performance muffler (yes im aware a glas...

yes sir i have a cat back with a single glasspack going into a y-pipe and then branching out on both sides of the spare. soo with that said do you still stand by your assumption that deleting the cat wouldnt net much performance gain (to be perfectly honest i kinda just want to do it for the sound, ...

Oh ok i just figured i could use the programmer to ignore the reading from the o2 sensor, my friend who had an f-150 w/ the 5.4 used his programmer to do somthing like that. But anyways im not sure i can go with any bigger pipes than 2.25" just simply because im not sure i could get around my spare.

ok the only thing im not sure about with this mod is how to get around my o2 sensor? Do i have to drop $400 on a programmer or is there a cheaper way to do it? Btw the reason im doing this mod is because im hoping to decrease back pressure some since i went with 2.25" pipes instead of 2.5" (idiot!),...

unfortunatly i dont think i can wait any longer now that the truck is paid off! the way i see it i can afford it if i do it in the order as follows: already have tb crank and rear springs (not boise spring works but will do), cutting is free so all i need is the bodylift which at this point is aroun...

Fender cutting

Ok so im basically following the mysterylift thing and at the moment i only have enough cash for the body lift. so even if i could find some cutout flares i couldnt afford them (just graduated highschool=no money). so i plan to just follow the cutting instructions from the skidz install which seems ...

Thats a negative on the 5000 to spend. Im 18 and just graduated highschool so funding is low. I have the k&n fipk or whatever its called. i also already have a cat back exhaust setup (2.25 inch pipes and a glasspack splitting into duals straight out the back)

wow tthats better mileage than i expected. so far the only engine mods i have are cold air intake and tb mod. At this point all im really concerned about is whether or not my cold air will be a problem with the body lift and if i need the skidz/cut fenders in order to run the 33's? any feedback?

max tire size with 3.42's

What is the max tire size i can run while keeping reasonable milege/power with my stock 3.42 gears? reason im asking is im trying to decide if i want to add a body lift to my truck and either 31x1050's or 33x1050's, but im not sure i can afford new gears. btw right now i am running 30's w/cranked t-...

go with the glasspack. at first i just hacked off my muffler and used flexi pipe to run it out the side just in front of the leaf spring..LOUD in the cab but it sounded awsome, then i started going deaf in my right ear so i decided it best to run it out the back lol. 2.25" pipes 12" glasspack and it...
