I have a 2002 GMC that I bought new, love the truck.
The HVAC fan only worked on position 3 and 4, and I had to replace the oil cooling lines a few weeks ago. The the SEL came on, and it was flashing at me, so I took it to the dealer and needed new injectors.I had it fixed.
Coming home from the dealer my odometer turned 40K miles.
These things should not happen to a truck with such low mileage.
SEL Came on, flashing.

Unfortunately it does. Sometimes it is age and lack of use more than mileage.
I would imagine your injector replacement was due to sticking poppets. That may have been prevented by avoiding fuel additives that coat the surfaces and a maintenance dose of injector cleaner every other oil change or at least annually.
If you had HVAC switch problems, be sure to read the sticky on the transfercase switch. I would hate for you to be back there replacing the rest of the HVAC vacuum controlled system.

Did the brakes all around, two new tires.
This is where I will jinx myself......I have the original battery.
I was going to get a new one, but all the other maintenance took precedance.

Fuel comes with additives. I avoid the Techron additive that Chevron uses.

Here I go again. 4 oz. Marvel oil every 12 gls. of gas in your tank. Very clean Throttle body, Injectors, Valves and your fuel pump w/ gauge sending unit are kept clean and lubed. I've been on this system for 25000 miles now and all I can say is it works and may have something to do with my average 23 MPG hiway miledge.
