Here's one, Pinging

Here in Fl its hot, and when the CC warms up I sometimes will get pinging from the engine under acceration, tried various things, gas, cleaning aids but nothing seems to work..any ideals

Add this to the list, carbon build up in the intake and throttle body...clean it out with a good spray, and see what happens..

Check your A/C compressor. While it's hot pop the hood and have someone turn the A/C on and off and see if you can here the ping. Also while driving turn the A/C on and off and see if you notice a difference. I had this problem and tried every thing, had it in the dealer two times and they gave me a line of bs.

My compressor is about to go out and I hope it does before the extended warranty expires. I have been spraying some synthitic lubrication in and arround the pulley and it helps the noise for about a month. I guess the berrings are about gone.
