Allen's Crew Cab is a '00 model?

Post by a2b »

so if you havent noticed, allen has a member page now. when he submitted it, he said it was a 2000! now he has only had it for 4 monts he told me. so how did he get it? he said he was told it was a prototype or something. or is it really a 2001. or is it from south america? how many miles are on it? or is it really a 2001. how can we check to be sure?

Didn't Jim post a 1999 that was on ebay, a while back?

I think there was a company doing the crew cab conversions???

Yeah, I saw a few conversions at a dealer in Mass. years ago. They were very pricey at $30k.

Country of origin, Manufacturer, Make, GVWR/Brake system, Truck line/Chassis type, Series, Body type, Engine type, Check digit, Model year, Plant location, Plant sequence number

;)

I think the aluminum (chrome) wheel well molding is the easiest "Tell-tale" sign. Seems like the 1999 conversion had them too.
