Fasten Seatbelt Light

Post by TheBigFitz »

Driving down the road my fasten seatbelt light flashes sometimes. Seatbelt is always on when I am driving, any idea what could be causing it to flash?

Am sure you have already looked but, I would sheck the connections and the condition of the wires under the seat .

I had this problem on my 00 Sonoma. There are two wires going to the seatbelt lock under the seat, if you cut both of those, and splice them together, it'll fix it :D

HA HA HA...

that reminds me, my uncle used to have this old piece of junk VW Beetle that had an awful buzzer that wouldn't shut off until both front seatbelts were fastened. I guess they didn't want anyone driving their cars around alone. Anyway, he always kept the passenger seatbelt buckled behind the seat.
