Lift kit
I have a 2003 s10 crew cab and I can’t seem to find any lift except the RC 2.5 which I had on my blazer. I liked the kit but I want to run 33s so can anyone help me out with brands and part numbers. I’m thinking 5 or 6 inch, whatever will not require modification
I don’t think you’ll find a lot of good options for a lift kit. What you can however do, is find the “MML” threads on hear and make your own “lift kit”.
Crank torsion bars, trim fenders, fit 31s. Add body lift for 33s. Cheap, simple, reliable.
Lift kits throw a lot of stuff out of whack on these trucks. From what I’ve seen, they seem like a waste of time, money, and effort. Especially since 33s can be achieved without a “kit”, or the problems that come with it.
That all being said, I have no personal experience putting a lift on these trucks. I did go through a partial MML build (no body, ran 31s, truck did fine) but I have since cut out all that junk in favor of a Dana 44 and 14 bolt.
