Cool roof / ladder / construction rack. First long rack I have seen like that. Looks like it is "pinned"? Just a two piece design, or is there some adjustablity? What are you hauling up there?

I'm mounting kayaks and extention ladders. It is not adjustable but I'm pretty sure I can cut it down and weld it smaller. might be a fun weekend project. It mounts to the bed walls under the cap

Looks awesome. Kayaks sounds like fun. Any plans for a deck and sleep up there? I have a friend that used the "Turkey mats". Sort of a synthetic grate material. That was a very long time ago now.

I don't see your location in your profile. What part of the world do you live / frequent?

Haven't set the profile yet. Pennsylvania. I camp in the bed usually. I do alot of rock climbing so I can sleep on the crash pads. I have thought of adding decking but I don't know what to use. The rack has helped me overcome some of the small bed issues. Had a couch up there the other day

We have become very accustomed to sleeping off the ground. The small bed is usually pretty full with stuff. Chuck had some grating material attached to his rack that mad a good summer sleeping platform. I'd be very tempted to look at a RTT for the back of your rack if the kayaks would work up front. The RTT would act as an awning for the back and a nice place to set up the kitchen :)
Those foxwing awnings do look cool. Jury is still out in my book though. Quite a few end up selling them it seems and the cost is on the high side. Watch EP for them, they come up from time to time.
I like my CampingLabs awning. There are some similar ones available. CVT awnings would be top of my list today.
I recently picked up one for my Dad's Westfalia. http://www.busdepot.com/ezyplus Very affordable and simple. Not attached to the roof for travel, but looks pretty compact and better than a tarp.

I don't know if you've seen this but it's pretty cool. Home made RTT My only wonder is how it's holding up.
