A refreshing break from the electronic world. I hope you had water?
I am on a well and lack of power is a real problem.
What was the reason for the outage?

I feel for you! I was at an in service training session in Brunswick, GA in '93. I got home and found my dogs, and house sitter gone. The power went out days before and even my water bed was a solid slab of ice  I think it was out an additional week before it was restored. It was miles from the closest home and very low priority on the list.

I lived in Lawton for six years, and man oh man was it cold there. For us Kalifornistan natives. The prairie land sure was windy, and made cold days even colder.....
