S-Series Nationals....

Post by 2kwik4u »

Anyone else from here going?

I'll be there with the Xtreme. Thought of putting the Xtreme on a car dolly, and draggin it over there with the ZR5, but figured I'll wait one more year, until it becomes a trailer queen :D :D

Thats the one.

Come on steve, surely you've heard about it. You spend as much time in OT at SSF as I do....it's basically the talk of the board for the last two weeks, and until it happens next weekend.

I've got a Luandry list of crap to get done on the Xtreme before I leave.

Swap DS between the ZR5, and the Xtreme
Flush/Fill Rear end, tranny, engine, and radiator (all royal purple for racing at Nats....gotta backup that 17.9 from last year :D )
Remove/replace the heater core, and fix the vents
Repack the front wheel bearings, and spray anti-squeek on the calipers
Fabricate CAI
Re-install the bed cover (Might weld it up some for strenght before I go :dunno: )
shampoo the carpets

I think I've got my work cut out for me this weekend.

Yea for my 4cyl Xtreme......It's actually quite good for a 4banger S10, as most are in the mid-high 18's

I'm hoping for a 2.0 60' this year, and a 17.5 or faster :D :D

It should also be noted that I'm an Autocross guy, and literally run the truck at the dragstrip once a year at nationals.

I bet the ZR5 does it in 16.8's or so
