I have never let mine get past a quarter of a tank, but have gotten 25 miles per gallon, and as low as 17 mpg

540 miles but I chickened out and filled up before it was empty. It might have made 600 miles.

That was getting 18.5 mpg with mixed , mostly highway driving.

I cheat though- auxillary fuel tank

About 290 miles per tank, so if we have a 17.5 gallon tank I get about 16.5 miles to the gallon

The best I ever had was when I got my tonneau cover installed. It was around 22.5mpg at about 300 miles... It probably would have been a bit better if I hadn't had 2 other people in my car along with a full bed and back seat full of luggage!

Sucks literally!

Seriously, that's about the same as I get. I'm planning a full tune-up in the near future and also just ordered a Magnaflow cat-back to free up the exhaust a bit. I'll be curious to see if that helps any. I hated the sound of the stock muffler anyway. I've already done everything else (intake, HPPIII, etc). Even with cruise control, I've never been able to get over 20 on the highway and we won't even talk about my around town mileage!

A high flow muffler will probably just make things worse. When combined with the high flow intake, more air in and out usually means using more fuel. You'll probably also get on it a little more often to hear that new muffler roar. 8)

My "usual" fill up runs between $40 and $50 , but I only need to do that once a month.

Yeah, with my luck, it will probably get a lot worse. Well, at least I won't have to listen to that "clogged vacuum cleaner" sound when I do put my foot in it!

WOW!! You may need to do some tuneup to your rig. I get 350-385 miles
on a tank of gas. Mostly highway miles. 330miles for mixed driving. I use
BG44K once every 3 months to clean out the engine. It cost about $20 and
you can get them from Advance Auto. There behind the counter and you
have to ask for it. You won't find them on the shelf. Hopefully this'll help

350-385 miles is possible one tank. After doing a recent tune up (MSD wires, Accel cap & rotor, NGK iridium plugs, and Powerdyne TB spacer) I averaged 21.2 mpg on a road trip to Yosemite that had a 10k foot elevation change. 21.2 mpg is = to 371 miles in the CC. My average before the tune up was 14-16 mpg city/highway. One thing I did notice is that @ 10k feet the CC has a noticeable loss of power going up steep grades. :(
