out of curiosity how dos this compare to the hpp3?

Probably pretty much the same from what I've heard from others that have used it on different vehicles. But it only affects engine performance...you don't get the other programmable features that the HPPIII has (shift point programming, rev limiter programming, speedo adjustment for tire size and gear cange, etc...). The HPPIII is probably a better bang for the buck.
