should be steve I cant recal the name of it but it replaces your old drain plug and comes with a quick connect hose..I even changed it while the truck was still hot

I think they're made by Fram, and called the Sure Drain. Most auto parts stores carry them, and I just recently saw them at Wal Mart.

That looks interesting,I went on their site and did not see a listing for our CC's, maybee I missed something. I did check the prices and there only a few bucks more then the Sure Drain. I went to Wal-Mart and they did not have the sure drain, I then went to autozone and they had one for 18.99 but it wasen't the right size for my truck. I realy like the idea of the drain vave! Kinda like the gas valve.

the sure drain does not stick out much more then a 1/2 in that quick drain looks like its out pretty far , would be worried about knockin it off wheelin

I have 1 and yes I would do it again and will in the future , was 0 mess when changing my oil just left it sit in my driveway and crawled underneath

I have had mine on my blazer for a long time -- makes it easy to change oil - just have to make sure you don't lose the hose attachment between changes.

If you had a problem wheeling - I keep my stock plug in my console, and could cahnge it out on the trail with a crescent wrench if I had to.

I had 1 on my truck for about a week. I could not get it to seal against the oil pan. There was a very slow leak. It uses a copper washer and the stock plug uses a rubber one. Maybe I just got a bad one, but I may try the other kind.

I have had no problems with mine so far, and dont get a drop of oil on me when I change my oil
