2WD Crew Cabs

Post by Joseph »

Just wondering a while back we talk about putting a crew cab on a ZR2 Ext. cab frame. How about on a 2wd ext. frame? My local junk yard has plenty of Ext. Cab S-10's for some reason. In my opinion I like to see one of them done. JH68

I read in a magazine, Motortrend I think that they were making a 2wd crewcab in 2003. Haven't seen one though.

I have not seen a 2wd Crew, but have been looking.

Tha'd look cool!

but why?

even if you did want to make street rod out of it. the 4wd would be a good thing, cuz you could swap the tranny case and make it an awd, and then have good street perfromance.

I've seen a pix of a S-10 crew cab built by Chevy were it had 350cid, 6ft bed and a 2wd. It look like it was built in the mid 1990's. It look pretty tough. JH68
