Split Tailgates

Has anyone else seen those splitting tailgates? I instead laying down like our the gate is in halves. They open up like a car doors. I like to have them but, only if I didn't use the current tailgate as part of the bed. Do to it size. JH68

Seen them but I don't think I've seen one for the s10, only fullsize. Yeah, I use my tailgate to extend the bed as well. Even with it out, it barely holds my dirtbike.

The only split tailgate I've seen is on the Lincoln Blackwood. It would be a good idea though. That and a long bed would be nice.

I just got a JCWhitney catalog and guess what, they have the split tailgate for the s10! It's 999 so it's not cheap but something to consider.

That's my 2001 Suzuki Dual Sport (Dual Sport is the new term for street and trail). So it's a street legal dirt bike.

Locker as in G80 locker? If so, yes, but it's listed as an LSD, but they still use the G80 code like GM btw. It's standard in all Troopers with TOD(aka AWD). It's available on the 5speed models and certain year "S" models. Front is open diff only. Aftermarket there is LSD for the front and AIR lockers front and rear available.
