hey mile marker makes a winch mount for our turcks and they are pretty nice and tuff. the part number for it is (The part number for our extreme mount for your 03 Sonoma would be 50-50003.) heres a link for a pic of what it looks like.

its the xtreme mount.. I saw one on a s-10 the guy had tubeing like a brush guard welded on and powder coated the thing and it lookd good. Just a option

It's definitely an option. A little pricey but, very solid. The brush guards is a mile marker add-on. MSRP was right at $!,000 but, I found one under $400.
I then checked further but the GOOGLE thread was apparently old and the guy closed his business.

Thanks for the input :D

That is pricey. I never checked the price I just used a picture of one to build mine. I got the winch mount part of my bumper built we did it like the extreme mount. Then some unexpected expencies came up and had to put that on hold. I still have to do the brush guard part hopefully Ill be able to get started on that in a month or two.

Yep, that guard is awsome, that's the one I got. Pics here and here.

And here was the best price I found.

12000lb winch.. what the heck you must be pulling the full size trucks out of holes  looks good man. I was going to get the 9000lb is that not enough for our trucks.

I just got a hold of such a great deal on a new one off ebay, I figure I'd go for it. Always better to have to much than too little! And the pull rating with a full spool is still enough to get the job done, no worries!
