For optimal tire wear matching the tread width to the wheel width is best. I would think that a little wider wheel would be a better match?
I know tires with a section width of 12" have been installed on 7" wide wheels. They tend to wear out the centers first.
Check for the manufacturers recommendations. That is the best guide.

the manufacturers said to put on a 32'' tire but they are exspensive and i would have to cut a little off of my truck. I want something that wont need cutting.

Stay at the mall or get friendly with cutting tools. If, you don't trust HenryJ then I would search other forums. Our members pioneered the Super Lift 6" lift and every thing that can be done has been done or tried here. "Search" can be your friend.

Check out Steve2003 His truck has lasted longer than any other Superlifted truck. I would follow his lead.
