Shackle info

Post by Jongo88 »

I want to make my own shackles. Does anyone know the distance between the holes. Like center to center for a 1.5 lift? What size holes for the bolts. I would like to save not have to remove a bolt to see.
I'm at work for the next 12 hours with nothing to do. I think I have time to make some...

I made mine 8in center to center, and got about 1.5 to 2 inches. The bolts should stick out from the nuts enough to get an approx. measurement.

i dont know the bolt diameter. but if you are going to make them 8" or so eye to eye. i would put a tube in between them in the middle like the daystart shackles do.
