Any ever tried to intall multiple shocks up front?

I found a kit for zr2's,wondering if anyone has tried it on a crew?

I am sure it would work for the crew, but like the ZR2 you would need to run aftermarket rims to properly install this kit. Maximum of 5" BS for the rim with these shock mounts. 4WD stock S10 rims have 6" of BS.

The Dual shock is a firm ride, the Triple shock is not needed unless you are running a ARB type steel bumper. Also note you can only use that kit in conjunction with a 6" Superlift Suspension.

im just looking for an alternative to the single bilstien shock that im running.It is not as firm as I would like and im about to add some weight to the front with a v8

im thinking of building my own bracket setup to install another shock.I think i will probalby be mounting it to the upper control arm and build something off of the stock shock tower.

Are you wanting tighter suspension, or more rebound control?

Adding more weight has nothing to do with shocks. You just need to crank the T-bars to compensate for the weight. Shocks only control dampening (as mentioned above, rebound control).
