Leaf Spring Helper Kit @ Autozone

Post by Walt »

In the Sway Helper thread and said I would check out Autozone and see if they had something similar. This is what I found. I don't know if it'll serve the same purpose or not.

In this pic it looks like it could possibly be inverted to function like the Summit kit.

Here are the parts included.

I kept this one big so we could read the writing :)

Maybe this will provide another alternative.

I had those before the lift. They will add stiffness and help with the sway issues. they will not add any ride hight.

Ahh... if they help with swaying, this may be our magic answer :)

little bit different design tha the summit kit. looks like this one solves the problem of u-bolt threads hanging down. it's hard to tell how much the plate will effect clearance but at least it's smooth as opposed to four tooth-like bolts sticking out.

as for ride height, inicially it appeared that the summit kit raised my rear end slightly but now that it's all settled in I don't think there is any siginificant change in height.

I don't think mine have made much of a difference in height, but the stiffness of the ride in the rear is very noticeable.
