Ok I'm sorry I just read the fender flares post... So with them making the opening smaller I'm guessing they won't fit since I've already trimmed the metal.... But in the pic with the bush wackers on.. Is that the stock size tire or is that a mml truck with 33's ?

Those are 31x10.5-15 tires with the Bushwacker flares. So are these:

Check out the page: Bushwacker rear flares
It took quite a bit to get the rear flares to fit. They are also pretty small even for out 31" stock wheel well opening.

See how those upper inside corners are down a little. They were not big enough to push up and attach. If you have a bigger well and have made the cuts, I am thinking these might be too small.
I still think that the ford F-150 flares might be an option after seeing them on a Jeep wagoneer. Maybe there is something else that would be closer? Have not looked in a long time.

i guess a direct bolt on is just to much to ask for.. ive been searching ebay i can find isuzu/chevrolet flares but its for the body style before ours( gas tank on wrong side and slightly less bed flare ) and the one after (09-12) was skidz the name of the company or just the type of flare... i wonder if they would sell the old molds ?

Craigslist Fender flares possibly f150s?

Post by Built2Bend »

Hello I hate to start another thread about flares becoulse there's a lot of them :nono: . And most go no where  but I saw this on craigslist and I think it may be the first attempt I've seen at I think f150 flares on a s10. I'll post most of his pictures and a link to the add. Maybe some one here can explain or knows what they did.

Now as you can see in these pictures (or maybe it's just me  ) but these look bigger than zr2s. And just look very diferent so what do you all think?

Merged the topics.

Great find! Those may indeed be the F150 flares. BIG coverage. The fronts look a little tipped out at the back. I think I would have moved the back side in more to square them up with the body. The back looks pretty good.

They are very round in the wheel well. More trimming? Maybe just mounted lower would work? Maybe heat the inner to form it to the crew cab wheel opening?

One thing is for sure, plenty material to work with. They could be trimmed to contour properly. I bet a couple inches in :wow:

I can see some potential but it might be just as easy to make cuts to the bush wackers I'm definitely going to pull a part to look at f-150s soon

Henryj
Thank you for moving this.
And I also would have heated up and moved the front lowers over to fit better.

Hartleybl let me know how it goes.
If I could find some some cheap used ones id try it but they just cost to much to try and buy new and make it work. Maybe some day I'll find some at a pick n pull to try.

I got ahold of diversified creations and they still have s10 cut out flairs they're selling off they said they have some scratches from being moved around so they'll need painted or bed lined. They're $500 a set I believe but that's an option.

You'd still have to do some work to make them Fit on the rear of are crews tho.

Did you have to trim the rear flares at all? Did you trim any of the bed?
