Front driveshaft....

Could someone give me the correct term for that?? How much side to side play should this shaft have where it connects to the t-case. Since the t-bar adjustment this morning I hear a faint noise and can feel something in my feet at 40 mph and up. Hub bearing maybe?? I am driving to N.C. next thursday and need to make sure this is not must fix before I leave. Please God let it be something simple and cheap. :pray:

When I was playing with my ride hight I cranked a little to much and my cv joints on the drivers side did the same thing. I lowerd it a little and the noise was gone. I can't see changing the t bar hight making the drive shaft to make noise..

Poo. not what I wanted to hear. The front is only an inch higher than it was. Don't really want to crank them back down. Means a realignment and the back of the truck is borderline too high now. Maybe there's another solution.

I hope so... I played with mine with the old tires and before the allinement. I raised it up then drove for awile and would go a little more then I went too much.. Then back down. Then I made shackles and got new tires and got it allined. Been good to go ..

I took it out on the interstate to see if it got worse. It's fine. I guess the tires want to "talk and bounce a little between 40 50 mph. I am NOT going to like that. Maybe that will go away as the tires break in. I should probably save money and order a set of hubs from synergy by summer time. Oh boy I get to buy more tools too.

Shew, glad its all fine for you. That would have sucked. So what tires did you get that are "talkin' " to ya?

If your tires are bouncing sounds like they are either out of balance or out of round. Only other thing that might allow them to bounce would be worn out shocks if there is no other damage. My .02 worth.

Brand new shocks and brand new tires. I added 10 psi more and that has helped some.

It took me 7 tires to find 4 round ones on my old Blazer...
