Light Bar (roof rack)

Post by MikeyZR5 »

Has anyone attached a light bar to their roof rack? Does anyone know of a company that manufactures this!?

I am interested in doing this mod.

Ok...I need yall's opinion, I am going to install my lights on my roof rack. Now, i have seen pics with 4 lights on the rack, but have not seen one with two lights only. I am planning on doing this because I already have a pair of Hella 500's that i can mount. Do you think it would look funny with two lights instead of 4 lights?

Poconoboss has two mounted facing rearward. I'm sure if you talk to him on zr2.com he will point you to his other pictures showing his wiring and lightbars in more detail. He had a post about it but I couldn't find it when I looked. Just shoot him a pm and he usually responds real quick.

Several people have used a factory roof rack bow for a light bar. I was gathering some links and thought I store them here too.
