Problem with A/C control.

Post by ViperVengeance »

Last week, seemingly for no reason, my a/c fan control started messing up. There is an abnormal sound and it will not change off of the cab vents. Has anyone else experienced this problem and have any clue might be going on? :?:

Mine did that last year when it was cold. It's like it's stuck inbetween so that's probably the air sound you hear. By the time I went to the dealer, it was much warmer and worked fine. This winter was colder but it's working fine. My guess on mine was that I did not use it that much so it was not broken in yet.

Others on this site have had this replaced under warranty.

Yea, I had lots of issues with this. Check out my earlier post

They replaced the control the first time. I just had it in again last week because it started leaking again. This time I brought in the TSB about oil in the vac lines. I ended up dropping off the truck for a few days until they fixed it for good.

Just had mine fixed today. Same thing. Plus 2nd CV boot and drivers side window motor.

Then I left and ordered my new truck at another dealer.........
