You got an awesome price. You definitely didn't overpay. Unless there is something wrong with it...

I saw a 2002 ZR2 with all the bells and whistles with around 120k going for almost 8 grand! Your price was surprisingly low.

there were 46 miles on it then, now just over 104,000

I think you did pretty good. The "true market value" calculator at edmunds.com says an '03 w/ 119k should be between five & eight thousand.

I got mine for $9500 with taxes and trade out the door. I think if i haggeled more i coulda got it down to 9000K out the door. Plus it had a few things that needed fixed, that they did. (air didnt blow right, it was a switch problem, broken vanity mirror, AC seemed to lack, so they drained it re-filled it, aligned it, few missing trim pieces.)

I got mine i think march or april of this year (09), its 2003 zr2 and it had 55,670K miles on it. Iv had it 6 months or a hair more, and havent hit 60K yet.

I put less then 60K on my old s-10 that I had for 7 years, and thats when I did a bit more running around, and a lot of driving to see a ex that lived a hour away at the time. So this truck should last me a long time.

I didnt think about it till after I signed the paper, but im sure I coulda got a better price. This was when all the GM bailout junk was going on, I looked at a Colorado there a few weeks before I went back, and noticed a black crew cab setting there, but didnt look at it. I coulda played the, well this thing isnt going any where, so, if you chang eyour minds and want to lower the price, ill consider.... but didnt. But I did tell em, Its a nice truck but wasnt interested in their first price. Said I have a working truck and just looking for a good deal weather it be now or 6 months from now, lol. That really got em hot. The salesman's boss cam in and gave me a price he couldn't give me, allegedly. Don't know if it was true, or a sales tactic. Thought it was funny either way.

Same here. The passenger vanity mirror cover was broken off - didn't realize it until well after I bought the truck, but I don't care. There was a hefty scratch on the front bumper right in the middle which they "fixed" for me, but is definitely visible. Also, I didn't figure out the AC was screwed up until many months after the purchase because I bought it in the dead of winter. :x

I just told them that I'd come back the next day and look at it again! They wanted me to take it ASAP, so they knocked a $500 off!

Yeah that vanity mirror can be a real issue. Mom's 99 tahoe had a broken vanity mirro in the same manor mine was. She kept getting dead batterys and we couldnt figure out why till dad noticed the vanity mirror was VERY hot one day. The little door hine was broke, and the plunger button wouldnt shut off! So i made sure that was fixed. I never use it anyways.

I got mine when it was still cold out. id say a nice nice day was 50s. We found mine wasnt as cold as others, they would blow ice cubes right away, but of course it was winter, but my truck seemed to take a bit longer to reach the same sub zero temps, lol. My truck's AC still sucks in the city. but is great on the highway.

lol, nice one on the bargaining. I should blue balled em some more.

I got there and wanted to check out this 2.2L regular cab 2wd s-10 i saw in the paper for like 4k? Then saw the crew cab. so we looked at it. And he started his sales pitch and throwing some crazy high numbers at us, after he spent about an hour or two dealing with us. I said I came to look at a little beater truck. Definantly not something like that, I was just looking. That got the guy hot, almost pissed me off too, he said something to the fect of " well i thought you all wanted to buy something" i said, no, just looking I have a running vehicle in perfectly fine shape (liek I said above). Im just looking for a good deal. He came back and started his delaing and junk, still crappy price. I said if you really want me interested youll have to do a lot better then that. he got hot again. thats when his boss came in, then they asked if i wanted to trade, i said i dont think so, but humor me.

I feel bad for my girlfriend, i think it was december 07? She went car shopping with her step dad, I was there. And he went to see this good friend he had that was a car dealer. Chevy was having their redtag sale. She was looking for a cobalt found this red 2 door LS cobalt, tag said 18K.

I watched in amazment, hoping I missed something, as her retard step dad made a deal for sticker price on it. :!:

But it was the redtag sale, prices cant be any lower, im sure his good buddy told him.

Just got my crew a couple of weeks ago. It is an 02 ZR5 had around 102k-103k on it. She has leather seats and almost all the other good stuff only things missing is on star (useless to me) and homelink that I'm going to add later. We gave 8,450 out the door but I got it out of state and have still to pay $700 in taxes. It is in good shape but needs all the maintenance stuff done as well as some front end parts replaced. I still think I got a good deal given local 4x4 truck prices.

A dealer down the road had an 03 GMC ZR5 with 130k white and not loaded. They where asking 10,500 for theirs and then tax, tag, document fee and something else pushing it to 12k plus.

I would say you got great deal if she runs out ok.

Chris.

Got my 01 CC LS fall of 05 69k looked like new no mechanical or body defects was even new vehicle clean underneath for $12,500.00. Knew the previous owner and don't think he ever even had it off the pavement. Never did figure out why he bought a 4x4 in the first place. Trust me, it doesn't look that good any more. Too many rough/rutted/muddy roads and hard use.
2001 CC LS, pewter, stock, 4.3,Wait4meperformance, CFM throttle blade, Helix throttle body spacer, 4spd auto, 3button electric 4x4 shift, heavy duty factory suspension, Bilsteins, 1" rear wheel spacers, skid plates.

I just got an '01 (Sonoma) crewcab with 75k on it. Paid $3800. But... "reconstructed title." I've got a little body work ahead of me and a little concerned about bondo at -40 (Fairbanks, AK)... I'm fresh off the Cummins scene and HAD to move away from diesels b/c of the winters up here. Just too much of a headache. I've been pokin' around this forum- I like what you guys have put together! Thanks for your input... I'm sure to be using it a lot. Starting with quadbeams? Hmmm... not sure yet what this is... :) Reading...
