Re: Bigger alternator

Was only able to stop by NAPA on the way home last night. Emergency at home, Air Conditioner died, 100* humidity 98. Anyway NAPA could only check my battery charge with motor running showed 13.8 volts. I hope to get by Oreilies today where they can check my alternator output.

Low Reading on Amp Gauge

I've noticed lately , when I start my truck the gauge reads like always a little over 14. But now as I warm up on down the road my gauge has dropped to about 12.5. This is with all elec. acc. off. Is this a sign of a major problem ? :?:

Re: i am so sorry for another tire fitment question

Some of us that run ZR5's have done the Skidz cut to our fenders and matched the cutz to the stock flares. Looks good and doesn't cost $600 for the extra 1/2" of coverage. If you go to Fallvitals Marvelous Mystery Lift thread he details the whole mod very well. I think you can access that thread on ...

I went to Napa and bought a new plug with pigtail for $12.95, american made. Oh I know I should have bit the bullet andgot an A...

Re: i am so sorry for another tire fitment question

I'd say NO. I know the rear fenders are from Isuzu and totaly unlike ZR2 , the fronts have a different opening size and flare to the edge. The old S-10Crewcab.com site had a list of Mods. with discriptions and pictures that had all you would need to do the Skidz cuts to your fenders, but I don't kno...

Re:

Thanks! Are you using one? All my Walbro experience is with Karting. They were a good choice there. Are you talking about go-karts, shifter karts etc.? I have a high volume 255 lph Walbro in my SS and a factory type 90 something lph Walbro in my 88 S10. The 255 lph pump is a very popular pump for a...

Re: Any one have any Knowledge of Centramatic Wheel Balancers?

I've tried a little air pressure change now and then. Mostly just checking for different traction in snow , ice , mud and I really am sold on these Dyna beads. I have had no change in balance at any pressure or speed that is noticeable. That is on these Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10 30x9.5x15's. I did re...

Re: Fuel Pump Started

I don't guess I knew there were three parts. I was only aware of the pump and the fuel gauge, or is that the sender ? If so mine works great. I just wondered if I could install an inline pump and pull the gas through the intank pump? :?: 8)

Re: Fuel Pump Started

I've been having these thoughts about this junk intank fuel pump system we all put up with on our S-10 Crewcabs. Is there not a way to modify our fuel delivery system to an out of tank pump ? There has to be a way. :?: 8)
