On my gmc you pull the plastic pins above the tag mount and just pull it off. The side clips just pull off.

I replaced the sensor today.. What a PITA that was. I hope none of you have to change it.
You have to remove the dissy and the fuel lines and it is still hard. I got it though. Time will tell if it works.

I just had to replace my cap and rotor. I had a Duralast Gold that lasted about 4 months. I replaced them with Accel cap and rotor. The Accel has brass contacts.

I'll have to get back with you with this. I have not got to the bumpers as of yet. I had the hardest time with the bed. The bolts that go through the core support. I had to use bigger washers. The bolts that I took out had the washers like made to them. They won't come over the threads.
I now have the bed on and lined up. The fuel fill is done too. I ran out of day light. I should be done tomorrow.

I have read and read and I'm lost.. They say to remove the blinkers. The sonoma headlights are made with the blinkers. So I guess I remove the headlights. They say to trim the valence. Body lift difference between gmc and chevy

Is there any difference between a s10 and a Sonoma? The front ends are different... I ordered my body lift so I can join the club. I read up on the install online and they talk about the Chevy and say nothing about the GMC...

That cross shaft wore at all? That is what holds tha axle from going in so the c-clip can't come out. Is the end of the axle still there?

Have you had any work done in the past? There is no way for the c-clip to just fall out. If it did there is something wrong. Look at the spider gear on that side to make sure it is not broke. There is a snap ring on the cv shaft and the little axle shaft on the pass side. Most likley the little shaft will come out with the cv shaft.

If you want good ball joints get them here. I had these in my old Blazer for 200,000 miles and they are still good. I have them in my Jimmy.
I now have them in my crew after the Moogs wore out in 18,000 miles.

I picked mine up at the junk yard for 5 bucks. Just get one from a two wheel drive.... I replaced every vacuume pod too. The main one that was full of tranny fluid was the top one by the gas peddle. The other one that was full is the one in the glove box. I got all of them for 10 bucks.

Sorry to hear that. If you think the bearing is bad and you have been driving it for awile you will need a axle kit. In this kit is a new axle, bearing, seal and new studs. You will need to get two things of oil and a new gasket. It takes about a hour to do the job if you get the right kit to start ...

I found out about the hubs here... They say made in the USA...
I had the ball joints on my old Blazer for years and never replaced them again. The Blazer had 240,000 miles on it when I sold it. it is still going today.

I messed up the cv boots myself. I tweeked the t bars just a little to much then went four wheelin and they got full of mud. I was going to wait until winter to change them out with the ball joints but the hub want let me...

I too have the full size bump stops. I have this big bump in the road on the way to work. I use to have to slow down to 25 so my front tires would not rub. When I put the full size bump stops in I could go 35 before they would rub. Then I put the bilsteins on and now I have been up to 50 and no rub....

I just put 89 oct in my truck and it seems like I have more power. It seems to idle better. I have not floored it but just driving it I don't have to hold the gas peddle down as much.. Am I nuts?

The thing is that there is no problems. It runs perfict. The ses light just came on. When that happens there is eather a problem or a bad sensor. So when the scanner came up with a knock sensor that to me means it is bad. I think it's just a matter of time before it comes back on. Bad gas will make ...

The code has been cleared. Everything like fuel filter and stuff is new. Seafome every 6th tank. Plugs wires cap and rotor in the last 3 monts. Only have 67,ooo miles now. I'm not for shure but I would think it is the same. It looks the same. The only thing that won't work are the tails. The link you show above is for turn with fogs. Yes they should be the same.
