I tend to keep my vehicles for a long time provided they remain dependable and we don't out grow them. We just sold our 92 cavalier after 11 years of reliable service. It was getting a little long in the tooth and our son is getting to big for its cramped back seat. We replaced it with a low milage ...

Sometimes I feel a very slight vibration at highway speed. Don't know if its the road, tires, or spacers. It's not enough to bother me or make me feel the need to get the tires re balanced.
Just make sure you torque the lug nuts correctly and check them often.

How high did you guys have your t-bars set?

I think I will be cranking mine a little, maybe .5 - .75 inch when I put on my Boise spring kit, but I don't want to start having cv boot issues. :!:

Be sure to give us a "blow-by-blow" on the install.
I will do that. I will also post my experiences/final opinion after I get some miles on them.
Maybe some pics as well.

(Ok, so maybe three questions ;) ) 30 Lbs. .323 x 2.5 in. @ $93.15 3/8 center bolts qty. 2 @ $3.60 9/16 x 14 u-bolt qty. 4 @ $23.40 shipping UPS ground $30.2...

I considered a short AAL from Summit but instead opted for the 3 leaf kit from Boise Spring Works, thanks to Brule for being the guinea pig on this one :D . I haven't installed them yet, to cold to be lying on the garage floor this time of year. As soon as warm weather returns I will get them in. I ...

Oh! almost forgot- For those without a 2" body lift...My condolences...You are going to have lots of fun trying to change your sparkplugs ;) And for those with skid plates...it is a real "son-of-a-gun" to change that fuel filter now! Hmm. Maybe I can convince the wife about the merits of a b...

Thanks to all the replies. Sounds like I am a go with some 30" Dueler AT revo's when I scrub off a little more tread on the stock Goodyears.
I am curious why the 30's would be louder. Also, can the dealer recalabrate my speedometer and odometer?

Thanks,
Pete

Re: Question about 30x9.5 tires

30" tires should not be a problem but from what I see, 30x9.5 will rub without a lift still. My 235x75 rub the flares stock so I can def. see 30x9.5 rubbing on my truck. :( Con I don't have flares, so I don't think rubbing should be an issue. But I will look a little closer with the wheels at full ...

Question about 30x9.5 tires

If I replace my 235/75’s with 30x9.5’s will my truck suffer any loss in performance? I know the 30’s aren’t much bigger diameter and probably not much heavier, however I am concerned about reduced off the line power or unwanted downshifting out of OD and gear hunting at highway speeds. I understand ...

When you look at the front end, it looks like the truck is saying to you "Go to hell. Screw you". Someone is making about a hundred grand a year that doesn't know what ugly is. I'd like to see the guy's wife that designed the new trucks! Wow... How do you really feel? The exterior of the new...

The factory bulbs are 881’s 27 watts. I would like to get some Silverstar bulbs for my fogs to match my headlights but they don’t make them in 881. They do however make an 880 which is the same bulb but with a different socket. Anyone know if they can be interchanged? The 881 is a right angle socket...
