as for power, it's hard to say....i did all my upgrades at once (K&N FIPK, Throttle Body Spacer, Hypertech, Exhaust) all combined i'm positive i've made power. Dude steel will rust. less money for the wheels and they dont last as long. it is what it is, man.

my lowers were loose at 7k when the lift whent on . i had 10 free oil changes and the dealer failed to lude the chassy. i think that had some thiong to do with it. there are 12k now and they are a little bad. 6" sl and 32"s

I would go with 31" and 3:73 that is what i had on my 01 and i got 16 to 17 mpg average. The 32" and 3:73 i dont drive it ever y day so i will check it out but being so tall i would guess less than 15mpg :oops: Yokohama Geolandar AT+II 32x11.5-15 , 53 lbs , 31.5" tall - How is the performance? superchargers????

Ok i bought a travle trailer last week and loaded its about 4500 to 5000 lbs. took it to wisconsin on friday and got about 7mpg. :cry: would a blower help much. the truck could realy use some more power. oh, and a silerado is not in the budget.

Any thought would be great. thanks

I have the sl 6" for the regular s-10 (part # k776) and so far so good :wink: . I am running a 32" tire on * inch wheel with 4" of back spacing with a body lift and also a 1" shackle in the rear. if u do the body lift and tb crank you can run 31's on stock tires. been there done that. but i would go big 8 to 9 inches of lift it sounds like a lot but it really isn't. :D

go with the 31's. 32's would only work on stock wheel maybe. i went camping over the weekend and with the gear and tent camper i was only gettine about 9mpg. :twisted:

You can mod the front valance to keep the hooks and i didn't lift my rear bumper with the body lift . i filled the gap with some black cove base molding from home depot. look through the threads on these lifts. there is alot...

ok, i am running 32" on 8" wheels and 4" bs with the sl 6" and pa 2" and sl 1" shacles the front is realy close. so if u plan on wheel'n it i would go with 31" tires. if you dont mind cutting your fenders then go with the 32".

sorry i don't have time to post picks, but i have a cover that is dealer installed with the zr5 logo. it fits inside the bed rails and workes great and is most likely the same manufacter as the tux cover they looks the same.
These are the best soft cover i have ever seen . :thumb:

you could mount it to the stock location on the top the bottom mounts to a bracket that mounts to the lca bolts. sl uses brackets that mount to the stock location on the top.

Jeggers, Looks like you have the same exact skidplate that I do, I was just wondering because you said something about six bolts to mount it, but it's looks like we're the same. Four bolts for the mounts, four bolts for the skid plate. I was just wondering before if that skidplate was going to work...

:D Finnaly the skid is on and the 4x4 is hooked up.
