I ran no muffler with a resonator tip and it sounded so bad I cut the tip off the same day. Still sounded bad but did not look as ricey. If I was doing over I would run a single cherry bomb. Check our Warns videos for a sound check.

Ordered 5 inch TM on Fri.

After riding around with my t bars maxed, shocks worn out and tires rubbing for a year now I finally saved enough for a 5 inch TM lift with pro install. Hope to have it done around the 25th of this month.

This question goes out to Quickbiker and Justinlee5. Could a TM 3 inch add a leaf and a 1.5 inch daystar shackle be used on the TM 5 inch lift instead of the axle flip? How about the pinion angle.

If I ever get the TM 5 inch I want to run 2 inch spacers on the front and maybe a 2.5 or 3 in the back. BTW my wheels have 7 inches of offset.

Could I place LEDs in the rear view mirrors on the outside? I would like a whit hooked to the dome light circuit and an amber hooked to the turn signal circuit. Is there room in there? Brad, The timing would be in months, not years. There are a few things I need to work through. As you can imagine, it is not cheap to make these molds. Called Superlift today to ask about the Crew at SEMA in Fourwheeler mag. What they stated is they had a truck in the shop and the lift would be trick. I.e. dual shocks, high clear crossmember and new spindles. Price will be around 1500. Hope I did not let the cat out of anybody's bag.

Hope to run spacers front and rear like Paul. Will keep tires unless I can sell without losing much cash. The jump from 265/70/17 (32x11.5x17) to 33x12.5x17 is like 60 bucks a tire. When these wear out I will got to mud tire. I thought about 31x12.5x15 on 15x10 wheels. We will see.

I have 17x9 WS6 Trans am wheels with 265/70/17 All Terrains. They rub like a mofo. On a street truck they won't rub. For an off roader your choices are Mickey Thompson 31x10.5x17 bias Belteds or 265/65/17 Bfg Long trail t/a's. I will be selling mine with or without tires in March. PM me for details....

Southwest 4X4 in Harrisburg Ohio is going to do the install. They celebrated thier 25th year in buisness last year. The installer has been there 11 years. I celebrated New Years with him.

I know Paul(QB) has had great success with his 5 inch TM lift. His truck is an 01 and mine an 02. Will that make any problems for my installer when they put my lift on? Any comments?

Blazer

The rims on the blazer in the photo look larger than 15 inch. Anybody know what they are? I am asking cause I am hoping to get the TM lift in March. My 265/70/17s rub like crazy now with the t bars maxed and halfshafts leaking. Is the TM lift a true 5 inches or 4 with a t crank?

Picked up my HPP III Saturday. It works awsome. I programed on Sat. and deprogramed on Wed. I took my truck in for service. I put it back in on Thurs. Here are my settings.



87 power tune.

5800 redline.

110 speed rating.

31.5 tire ht.

I would like to duplicate your springs. What specs should I give my local spring shop. I pull a 2500 pound camper. I had to get a weight distrubution hitch to pull it level. I would like to get away from it cause I think its overkill and a pain to hook up.

I have 17x9 WS6 wheels. I would reccommend 255/55/18 or a 265/60/18. Tire rack says they won't rub. My 265s rub the frame with t-bar crank but they are 31.5 inches tall.

Go to your dealer and purchase a set of factory locking lugs. The plastic covers fit on them and your wheels will be safe. I have then on my 17s and you can't even tell. They are about 30 bucks.

I am on my second set of Mastercrafts by Cooper. Set number one has went 40k with one rotate and I just bought my Courser ATs. So far the ATs are great in the snow and rain. Have not been off road yet. Must say the are quiet on the road. Should last 50k.

4.56 rear ring and pinion is only available throught GM for about $385. You can get front and rear 4.10 for about $500.

Took me a little longer. More like 12 hours. I had to modify my bumper brackets to work with a non stock hitch. I did not have to drill the core support like the sheets say so I think it was easier than the instructions lead you to think.

Flex-a-lite offers an electric fan for s-series trucks. I have heard they can be worth up to 10 HP and 2 mpg. Any opinions?
