after 2002 the 2003-2004 electronics were a bit different. you would either have to make the old stuff work on the newer engine or repin/swap your truck over to the newer components from the 2004 truck which might actually be easier if you already have the newer PCM etc. If you find a BCM from a 200...

Re: Steering Stabilizers for S10s

Oh nice! I really need to do this. After taking a back way entrance tonight in to the yard at work it was very apparent that this would help. The back way is pretty much whatevers left from the snow with dirt/mud whatever under it.

Re: wtb rear door outer window seals

My damaged door is long gone. I should have saved the stuff from it. I kept some of it for a little while then said to hell with it and threw it out. Only so much room when you dont own the place you live in.

Re: S10 crew part out.

JUST so everyone knows, I found this out the hard way. Front doors on crew cabs are electrically exactly the same as a Blazer, since they were made in the same factory. If you get a door from a regular S10 pickup you will need to remove most of the guts and replace it with the guts from your crew do...

Re: ZR5 wheels

I bought my ZR5 wheels from _stucky. I dont remember what exactly I paid to ship them but I think we were able to get all 4 sent for about $80. I know we looked at Amtrak and there is a way to ship stuff on a Greyhound bus.

Re: Winch Bumper

I need one of these. I am tired of smashing the plastic bumper things up when I bump in to snow etc in the cold. I bought one and it didnt even last two weeks before it got cracked up.

Re: Surging RPMS when Air Conditioning is turned on

Your AC compressor may be bad and when you turn the AC on its putting too much stress on the engine and its trying to overcome it. My aunts trailblazer had ceased bearings on the compressor and when you would turn the AC on the engine would drop to 500rpm and then die.

Re: Cat Conv & O2 Sensor questions

It has always been my assumption that the O2 sensors will give you a fault when they are bad/not working right. If the cat was just replaced changing the sensor behind it might not be a bad idea but if there is no CEL for the P0420 code now then it should be okay. Some say that after so many miles y...

Re: Lost rear Driver side brake and turn signal -Need Wiring

Just get a whole rear tail light harness. There is a plug on the driver side in the frame by the spare you can just plug it right in. Its super easy to replace. No need to cut and splice in to anything. You can get one from basically any S10 pickup second gen and it will work.

When you open the door, does the exterior lights flash?
