When pushing the piston back into the caliper,it's a good idea to open the bleeder screw as you push the piston in. I neglected to do this step one time, and it cost me $700.00 to replace the abs assembly. I was given this information by the service manager where I had the module replaced.

RTV sealer in the past contained large amounts of acetic acid in their formulation. I don't know if the newer RTV has the same formula. The acetic acid would corrode the wires and connectors. Its been a couple of years since I've seen one, but I do remember at least two and possibly three wires coming out of the water pump. This was on a car with the police package.

Early 90's model Caprices with the police package had electric water pumps from the factory. I'm not sure, but I think the practice continued until the stopped production.

The rubber type of lights may not look too good, but they are tough. The WV DOH uses them on the rear of their salt spreaders and has little trouble out of them out side of excessive vibration occasionally cracking the sealed beams or shaking the filiments loose.

The isolator that I used measured about 8"l x 4"w x 4"h. If you mount the isolator under the truck I would go with a wire gauge at least one size larger than is used on the altarnator. The isolator should have an amp rating at least equal to the maximun output rating of the alternator if not larger....

I don't know about Mississippi, but in West Virginia, the tint on the winshield can come no lower than the AS1 mark on the windshield, or no lower than 4 inches from the top, which ever is shorter.
